About
In the week-long session, you'll learn how to read and understand the qualities of how to write a film scene, share your favorite film clips with other classmates for a group discussion. and review clips from movies the instructor has made to understand the mechanics of the film production process. You'll also:
- Recreate a scene from an existing movie scene-by-scene by breaking down each shot and copying it.
- Experiment with adapting a short existing film script to make it your own.
- Practice shooting the existing short film script using lessons learned from other movies.
- Gain a basic understanding of film editing software available on cellphones and computers, so you can work on your own to edit the project you filmed in class.
