About

In this two-day class at Yori Seeger's forge, you’ll learn how to make one the most ancient-yet-useful tools for woodworkers. First, you’ll shape your blade with the forge’s fire using a hammer, tongs, and anvil. Once shaped, you’ll heat treat the blade, and then sharpen it. Finally, you'll craft a comfortable handle that will fit your hands as if it was made for them, because it will be.

This will be a fun-packed weekend working with Yori that will result in a tool you’ll turn to for many years to come.

Materials

A $25 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers all the materials you'll need.
