About
Overcome the fear of painting “en plein air” and learn a few different ways you can “warm up to your subject” before completing a finished scene in your sketchbook. You'll receive personalized guidance and instruction on location, helping you capture the essence of your subject while leaving out the distracting details, so you can work efficiently and confidently out in the weather.
Class 2: We'll meet in the Great Room upstairs, where you'll learn methods to apply colors to the sketches. Then the you'll head outside again to paint a scene and apply colors to your sketch. The instructor will provide hands-on coaching from student to student.
Details
Experience level: Beginner and beyond. No prior experience in drawing or paining is required. However, any experience with drawing and watercolor will help enhance the outcome! If you're a seasoned watercolor painter, this will still be an engaging class, to help you dive deep into the chosen subject, and strengthen your skills.
