About

Stitch Meditation® is a practice that brings us back into conversation with ourselves. We focus on mindfulness meditation and process over product.

Learn the Stitch Meditation® practice and create two small collages using fabric and stitch. We'll allow each meditation piece to flow from our hearts and hands, not our heads.

While the emphasis is on the process, your collages can be used together in one larger piece or become small. intimate art works that stand on their own.

Liz Kettle

Liz adores fabric, stitching and mixing up her media with whatever is close at hand. She passionately believes that creating and making is the secret sauce that makes a rich full life and everyone would be happier if creating was a part of their daily experience. Liz is passionate about teaching others the joy of making and benefits of the creative process. Liz has been teaching since 2006 when her first book was published. Her online classes are designed for students to have fun, be experimental, and make a delicious mess while unearthing their unique artistic voices. In addition to having written multiple books and magazine articles, Liz is the creator of the Stitch Meditation® Process, which brings together mindfulness and the creative experience in a daily practice that reduces stress, relaxes the body, and engages the right brain.
