About

Join the Writers’ Studio Book Club and get fresh reads and expert voices every two months!

We'll dive into a carefully selected book from different genres — always published within the last five years. Each session features a conversation led by an expert in the field, offering unique insight into the craft, context, and themes of the book.

Whether you're a writer, reader, or both, this is your chance to explore new voices, expand your literary horizons, and connect with a community that loves books as much as you do. Look for a new genre and a new book every round.

Stay tuned for the first pick.

Julie Farley

Julie is the author of the beloved "Love Songs and Ferry Tales" and "Cozy Cabins and Ferry Tales" books in the Greensea Island Adventure series. She loves writing tales filled with local lore, big families, lots of heart, and plenty of laughs. Julie lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband and four amazing kids. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a graduate degree from DePaul University. When she’s not busy with her family or writing books, you’ll find her trying to master the reformer in the Pilates studio, volunteering at the high school, or watching reality TV … of any sort!
