Learn what all those buttons do, which directions the machine moves along the different axes, how to load a G-code program, and the way to communicate directly with the machine via MDI (manual data input).
There’s a lot to know about operating a CNC (computer numeric control) machine beyond loading a program and pushing the button, and this will get you started.
Details
This is a prerequisite for the Intro to CNC Lathe and Intro to CNC Mill classes, and highly recommended for CNC plasma cutter classes such as Lay Out and Cut Numbers with the CNC Plasma Cutter.Prerequisites
You must have completed Machine Shop Orientation.
