About
Bring your creativity — and an item from home to transform into something uniquely yours! You'll have the opportunity to mosaic everyday objects, giving new life to items that might otherwise be discarded. From picture frames and trays to small furniture pieces, vases, and more, turn worn or overlooked objects into stunning, functional art.
Come prepared with your own project in mind and glass to use, or purchase glass and project forms, such as pendants. You could bring your own rock, for example.
Details
- Skill level: Some experience with mosaic is required.
- What to bring: Any small to medium item you’d like to enhance with mosaics. Great options include wooden boxes, mirrors, terra cotta pots, or even lamp bases. Upcycling thrifted or well-loved items is encouraged! If you don’t have an item, don’t worry as there will be materials available to experiment with.
- What’s provided: Some materials will be available to purchase. Scrap and repurposed materials will be available to inspire eco-friendly creativity.
