About

The near-magical technique of forge welding is used to make two pieces of metal into a unified whole with forge, hammer, tongs, and flux.

That last word is a key to the subject of this class. Instructor Yori Seeger uses his spoon to sprinkle flux onto the metal he’s going to forge weld, thus the "flux spoon." Flux keeps the metal from oxidizing at high temperatures and makes a durable forge welded joint possible.

This one-day, six-hour class will take your blacksmithing skills to a new level. So, come to forge, expand your capabilities, and have a bunch of fun!
