Handwork Week at BARN

Join us for an extraordinary exploration of American craft as BARN participates in Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026, a national initiative led by PBS's Craft in America and the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery.

About This Workshop

This class is designed to expand your knowledge of a wide range of Tapestry techniques and variations. On-edge assembly, cutting and reassembling, multiple firings, slumping, and coldworking expand the basic techniques. Many of the techniques can be adapted and used with other patterned glass.

The instructor is fascinated with the richness that results from pattern making and the possible color variations. The mathematical aspect of pattern making appeals to his interest in structure and order. This Tapestry© intensive class is a comprehensive class covering a wide range of Tapestry techniques, patterns and more, working with stringers and sheet glass.

This class is meant for people who are new to Tapestry, who have previously taken a Tapestry class in person or online, and people who have purchased the Tapestry Master Class video from Bullseye Glass.
