About
The sale will be the first chance to purchase red oak slabs from a tree that used to stand by the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum until it became too unsteady and had to be felled last spring.
David Kotz, who used to run the Coyote Woodworks sawmill on Bainbridge Island, will bring a truckload of select pieces for sale, as will Brent Herrick, who operates a local sawmill.
BARN members can also bring in wood for sale. Please contact Wayne at wwchang@mac.com for more details regarding reserving space and fees.
The studio doors will open at 10 AM. At 11 AM, a caravan will head up to the Hilltop Barn for people interested in the red oak slabs.
