About

You've made a scarf on the rigid heddle. What is next?  MUG RUGS!

This will add new skills to your weaving toolbox on the rigid heddle loom. You'll learn the basics of weft face weaving and hemstitch for finishing.

Mug rugs are miniature rugs for your drinks. They make wonderful gifts for your home or a friends.  It's a quick project that gives many opportunities to try different designs on one warp.

Materials

  • A materials fee of $5, included in the price of the class, covers both your warp and your weft.
  • Materials will be available for you to use, but if you have your own yarn you'd like to try, feel free to bring it.

Prerequisites

  • Must have taken the Introduction to Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving or have experience warping a rigid heddle loom.  This is class does not teach how to warp a loom.
