About

PLEASE NOTE these two policy changes/updates for this years' Teen Nights:

Registration: All teens must be registered ahead of time in order to participate in Teen Night and all included studio activities. If a teen is dropped off without prior registration, they'll need to wait in the lobby until they can be picked up.

Activity Swapping: Teen Night participants can no longer change which activity they're in when they arrive. Please make sure each attendant is registered for their preferred activity ahead of time.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A fantastic way to spend a Friday evening! Start with a pizza dinner and some time to socialize. Next, head to your chosen activity in the studio (make sure to choose the activity you want to do the most!). Once you're finished with the activity, come hang out in The Commons again for dessert while you show off what you made.

Project

This month's projects:

Culinary Arts - Soups for Helpline House: Practice your culinary skills, learn delicious recipes, and help people in our community all at the same time! Come cook up soups, stews, and bowls to be donated to Helpline House.

Fiber Arts - Cross-Stitch Critters: Cross stitch from various pre-made animal and monster patterns or create one of your own. No cross stitch or needle working experience is necessary.

Jewelry - Wire Jewelry: Learn about and experiment with a variety of wire working tools and techniques.  Projects could include earrings, pendant, key chains, etc.

Media Arts - Teen Improv: Have fun playing improv games where we work together to make up scenes on the spot from random suggestions. You'll spend the evening laughing and discovering that it can be fun getting up in front of an audience of your peers.

Print & Book - Custom Stamp Making: You will carve your own custom stamps from erasers and use them to hand-print a set of one-of-a-kind postcards and bookmarks. Experiment with patterns, textures, and color to create something totally your own. You’ll take home your finished prints—and your carved stamps—so you can keep creating long after the workshop!

Tech Lab - Wobblebots: Put together electronic walking critters and decorate your creations.

Woodworking - Fourteen-Sided Dice: Handcut with a saw and finish. Use your creativity to embellish and personalize your die.

Casual Crafts: Create with seven different craft options. Spend your time perfecting one, sample a few, or try your hand at all seven. You're welcome to bring your own project to work on as well.
