About

PLEASE NOTE these two policy changes/updates for this years' Teen Nights:

Registration: All teens must be registered ahead of time in order to participate in Teen Night and all included studio activities. If a teen is dropped off without prior registration, they'll need to wait in the lobby until they can be picked up.

Activity Swapping: Teen Night participants can no longer change which activity they're in when they arrive. Please make sure each attendant is registered for their preferred activity ahead of time.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A fantastic way to spend a Friday evening! Start with a pizza dinner and some time to socialize. Next, head to your chosen activity in the studio (make sure to choose the activity you want to do the most!). Once you're finished with the activity, come hang out in The Commons again for dessert while you show off what you made.

Project

This month's projects:

Culinary Arts - Community Holiday Cookies: Come put both new and established cooking skills to work, creating delicious holiday cookies to be shared with others in our community.

Drawing & Painting -  Comic Strip Characters: Using well-known comic strips as reference, you'll learn and practice drawing skills like sketching, proportions, and color, while learning a little about the artists behind the characters.

Fiber Arts - How to Knit: Yarn & knitting needles are provided to begin a simple scarf project.  Instruction will be given on how to cast on and learn the knit stitch. You can take the project home to finish your scarf.

Glass Arts - Glass Torchwork: Use the Glass Studio's torches to melt and shape glass into your very own creations. *Participants will need to wear natural fibers, long pants, and close-toed shoes!

Jewelry - Wire and Beaded Jewelry: Create your own style of jewelry using your imagination, studio tools, wire, and beads.

Print & Book - Mini Books: Come create miniature sized books. They can be used as ornaments or your own little junk journals!

Tech Lab - Holiday Cards & Ornaments: Blades and lasers! Get ready for the holidays by making cards and ornaments.  You will make custom greeting cards using the Cricut machine, and custom holiday ornaments using the laser!  No experience needed, just come with your images and ideas.

Woodworking - Woodwork Holiday Gifts: The Wood Studio becomes a Santa’s workshop where you can choose to make a variety of Holiday gifts from cheeseboards to kitchen utensils and Christmas ornaments.

Casual Crafts: Create with seven different craft options. Spend your time perfecting one, sample a few, or try your hand at all seven. You're welcome to bring your own project to work on as well.
