About
Build a foundation for future waxed linen weaving classes as you learn how to create a round medallion out of waxed linen using the twining method. You'll be introduced to two techniques for starting the medallion as well as a number of strategies for creating exciting and colorful patterns. This process is the first step toward making a waxed linen basket or sculpture, but is also a great project on its own. By the end of class you will have a beautiful, colorful medallion that you can finish into a necklace, ornament, or coaster.
