About
These pies began in Cornwall, England, as a way to provide nutritious meals that could be easily carried down into the mines. They're great above the ground, too!
Learn to make flaky crust and turn it into a tasty adventure. You’ll prepare one savory filling (chicken, bacon, and leek) and one sweet (cinnamon apple). You’ll also learn various ways to hand-crimp the crust then bake them perfectly in the oven.
We’ll practice knife skills while preparing the ingredients, baking skills, and even life skills while working with one another.
Beyond kitchen skills and knowledge, this class is intended to create a fun and memorable experience where teamwork, good communication, and problem solving are used. You'll make new friends and be excited to share your newly gained knowledge with family and friends.
