About
Create a unique garment with patchwork squares, learning basic sewing techniques and gain confidence using a sewing machine. You'll be guided with tips about fabric selection, interpreting a pattern, and how to gain the confidence to make your own clothes. And it’s fun! Your instructor will share stories about her work in film, TV, and theater creating props and costume accessories while you enjoy the tradition of creating a community around sewing.
You’ll need to bring a few tools and your own fabric, but you’ll also be able to use scraps from the instructor's collection and any other scraps you want to share. You'll finish with a fabulous new top and the pattern in your size that you can use to make more garments with your new skills.
