CLASS DATE/TIME UPDATE: To accommodate the holiday on 2/16/26, we have added an optional date to attend on 3/2/26. You can come to either or both, whatever works best for your schedule.

Learn to sketch and use watercolor to create a fantasy scene or realistic picture! Your instructor will weave a thread of art history throughout to give you a broader understanding of watercolor as an art medium.

  • Skill level: All drawing skill levels are welcome.
  • Designed for ages 8-15.

Registering Youth

  • Parent/guardian registering a child for the first time: When you register, select "Others Only" in the "Who Are You Registering?" section. On the next page, select "Add New Registrant." Create an account for your child.
    • The next time you register your child, use "Search Registrants" to select them.
  • Make sure to fill out your youth's emergency contact information and other details when creating their account.

Materials

A $10 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers everything you'll need.

Sher Swaim

Sher Swaim received her BFA in painting from the University of Illinois and did post-baccalaureate work at the University of Florida. Before locating to Port Ludlow, Sher owned and operated Sher’s Art Gallery and for 33 years taught classes in drawing, pastels, painting and ceramics for all ages.
