About
Anyone interested in spoon carving, whether a first-time beginner or an experienced carver, is welcome at this informal event. Michael Alexander, BARN's spoon carving instructor, will be offer casual instruction and guidance. He will also provide greenwood spoon blanks.
BARN recently updated its spoon-carving tools, which will will be available for use. Or you can bring your own. If you have finished spoons, please bring them so everyone’s work can be celebrated.
This session overlaps with Open Studio. It's free for members; the public is also welcome, with a $20 drop-in fee. There is no need to register in advance.
Class Policies
- Ages 14 and up are welcome.
- You must wear safety glasses and closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and avoid loose-fitting clothing and jewelry. We recommend bringing your own safety glasses.
