About

Cookbook potluck dinners are designed to create a fun community gathering that explores a particular cookbook and gives home chefs a chance to shine and share. We'll cook from Seattle Chef Omid Roustaei’s recent book: "Bitter & Sweet: Global Flavors from An Iranian-American Kitchen."

At home, each registered person will prepare a dish from the cookbook that serves at least 6-8. Then we’ll all meet at BARN to share our creations! Drinks and serviceware provided.

Details

  • A copy of the book is available in the Culinary Arts Studio for you to peruse. Or find recipes on his website.
  • BARN’s kitchen facility regularly uses ingredients on the FDA’s major allergens list. This dishes at this gathering may included the following ingredients: milk (butter), eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, and sesame.

Allergies and dietary restrictions

BARN's Kitchen is not allergen-free. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, each time you register for a Culinary Arts class, please check with the studio by filling out this form to see if your restrictions can be accommodated. We can't guarantee to fulfill your request, but please ask! Because allergies and dietary restrictions change over time, we don't store your allergy/dietary restriction information.
