About
Now that you've learned how to cut glass and designed and created at least one leaded or copper foil stained glass window, you may be asking "what's next?" How about an opportunity to design a window combining the structure of leaded glass with the intricacy of copper foil, using your window-building skills as the basis?
You'll choose from provided materials such as beveled glass elements, glass jewels, rocks, and beach glass. You can also bring your own elements. And bring three design sketches with you to the first session.
Details
- Skill level: Intermediate.
- You'll design and build a window about 20 inches square.
- You must be able to use Open Studio time to complete work from one session to be prepared for the following session.
- You can also sign up for an optional sixth session to complete your work with the same instructor.
- Keep in mind that missing any sessions could affect your ability to complete your project by the time the class concludes.
