About

A perfect introduction to the art of macrame, you'll be inspired by the nature surrounding you, from the pond to the beautiful dye garden in this outdoor class. 

This class is for complete beginners. If you’re nervous about trying to make something by hand, or don’t consider yourself very “artsy,” this is a great class for you. With only one knot, you will be able to make a beautiful, handmade wall hanging perfect for your room or as a gift. 

Details

  • For students ages 10-12.
  • Skill Level: Beginner
  • Registration closes Monday, July 31.

Registering Youth

  • New registrants: When you register, select Others Only in the "Who Are You Registering?" section. On the next page, Add New Registrant. Create an account for your child. The email address on their account must be unique. 
    •  The next time you register your child, you will be able to Search Registrants to select them.
  • Complete and return this minor permission form.
  • You may register your youth  for an optional supervised lunch hour from 12-1 pm for the duration of this class.

Project

You will create a handmade macrame wall hanging.

Materials

  • A materials fee of $20 is included in the price of the class and covers all materials.
