About
Using glass squares, rectangles and stringers, you'll create two complimentary geometric designs while building your skills on the studio’s Beetle Cutting System.
You’ll get step-by-step instruction to assemble two 6”x6” geometric compositions with squares and rectangles using clear and opaque glass and stringers. Bring a design of your own (channel your inner Mondrian!) or use templates provided by the instructor.
Details
- Skill Level: All
- It's recommended that you attend Glass Studio Orientation prior to this class.
- A materials cost of $50, included in the cost of the class, covers everything needed.
Project
Your final project will be two colorful and fun 6”x6” serving plates!
Class Policies
- Ages 14 and up are welcome.
- Wear close-toed shoes and long pants in the Glass Studio at all times.

Instructors or Guides
Cynthia Jacobs
Retired architect Cynthia Jacobs has been playing in BARN's Glass Arts Studio for about two years. She said she is inspired by all the creativity and always learning something new from this generous community of artists. Previously a painter, she loves creating art with fused glass.
