About
This two-session course co-hosted by BARN and Island Theatre (producer of the annual Ten-Minute Play Festival), is designed for new and seasoned playwrights alike. You'll explore and experiment with the core fundamentals of playwriting while focusing on the 10-minute play format. We’ll discuss and debate what makes a “good” 10-minute play. And, through a series of timed exercises and group games, you’ll create characters, write dialogue, and share your work out loud in a fast-paced, inclusive, safe, and fun environment.
