Cooking, Kitchen Skills, Wine & Beverage

The main goal will be to make a lasagna you can take home and either serve for a ready-made dinner or pop in the freezer for a future meal. You'll also learn how to repurpose peripheral lasagna ingredients, such as the meat sauce filling, for future easy meals.

No Italian meal would be complete without some wine - we will enjoy both throughout the evening!

Who knew layers of pasta, meat sauce, and multiple varieties of cheese could bring so much joy to your mouth in one bite? It's hard not to love this classic crowd pleaser that can be just as delicious fresh out of the oven as it is cold from the fridge the next day. Certainly heavenly!

A materials fee of $25, included in the price of the class, will cover everything you need.

Class Policies

Elisha Herzog

Elisha Herzog began experimenting in the kitchen when she was 10, without a recipe but drawing inspiration from Benihana. She went shopping in her family's kitchen to recreate the fried rice she had loved so much the night before. Elisha now calls this technique “Something out of Nothing” or “SOON” cooking. It’s a combination of recollection, intuition, and testing/learning.

Elisha swore she’d never return to Bainbridge Island when she left for college. As it turns out, in 2015, while pregnant with her second child, she discovered her parents weren't idiots because Bainbridge Island is a great place to raise a family! She’s called it “home” ever since. See her creations on
