Make your own Irish luck from stained glass and copper foil. This shamrock will give you the opportunity to hone your glass-cutting skills and use grinders to make perfect clover shapes. This family-fun project will leave you with wonderful memories and a fabulous sun catcher to take home. Take the class with your favorite leprechaun!
Details
- Skill level: Beginner. No experience needed! A fun and challenging class for beginners.
- Ages 10-13 need to be accompanied by an adult.
Project
You will make a copper foil green shamrock sun catcher about 5" across.
Materials
A $15 materials fee, included in the price of the class, will include everything you need to make a shamrock.
Class Policies
Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required in the Glass Studio at all times. Close-fitting cotton clothing is preferred to prevent burns. Long hair should be tied back.

Instructors or Guides
James (Jim) Washington
Jim Washington comes to BARN with 35 years' experience in vocational education. He has taught classes in cold, warm and hot glass, glass batching, ceramics, manufacturing, woodshop, and composites. His first love was the glass arts program in Central Kitsap, which he built and ran for 12 years.
