About
Your garment is almost finished - just the hem left to sew. But there's not just one way to put in a hem. How do you decide? This class will show you the possibilities - from wide to narrow, machine or hand stitched. Learn what will influence your decisions and the best choices for a variety of designs and garments. You will see samples of a variety of garment hems and practice a few by making samples in class.
Materials
For a $10 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, you will receive a kit of pre-cut fabric pieces to use in class to make your samples
Please bring a sewing machine to use in class, or reserve a BARN machine when you register. You will also need basic sewing supplies including dark and light thread, pins, hand stitching needles, a seam gauge or 6" ruler.
