Introduction to Letterpress: Greeting Cards *Cancelled*
Learn how to use the Challenge Proof Press and set wood type and ornaments as we make a run of greeting cards.

You'll use wood type, ornaments, and/or cuts to create your design. Then you'll learn how to lock the type securely in a chase and how to load it into the press. After printing, you'll trim and score your prints to letter size. Envelopes will be included and we'll be trading prints, so you'll go home with a variety of letterpress greeting cards!
Details
Bring a lunch for our 30-minute break around 1 PM. There is a microwave and refrigerator on the lower level you can use.
Materials
A $10 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers the materials you'll need, including French Paper Company’s cardstock and envelopes.
