About
MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding is used to join two pieces of metal. Learn and practice this process in a cooperative learning and practice workshop environment. Participants will work together to understand and practice techniques using a spool gun. A monitor will provide guidance and assistance.
Materials
A materials fee of $30, included in the class cost, covers the metal, gas, and filler wire needed.
Prerequisites
Class Policies
- Ages 14 and up are welcome.
- Wear natural fiber clothing, long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes (preferably leather or cotton). No stretch fabrics. Auto-darkening sunglasses are not helpful.
