Enameling is an ancient art form that involves fusing glass to metal to create color and patterns on surfaces. It's used in many applications, including jewelry, cookware, appliances, and signage. The art of enameling may be ancient but enameled jewelry is still popular today.
Get a taste of how fun and easy enameling can be! You'll learn enameling techniques and how to form small dishes out of copper sheet. Make them for yourself or as a gift for someone.
Details
Experience level: Beginner. No jewelry experience is needed.
Materials
- A $25 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers all the materials you need.
- Please bring a towel for cleanup.
Class Policies
- Ages 14 and up are welcome.
- Wear closed-toe shoes and natural-fiber clothing.
- Do not wear loose or synthetic-fiber clothing, dangling jewelry, scarves, or ties.
- Tie back long hair in pony tail or bun.
