About
In this sommelier’s exploration of California’s iconic Napa Valley wine region, you will taste:
- Sparkling wines of the Carneros.
- Chardonnays of the southern Napa region including the famous Hyde Vineyards.
- Merlot and cab franc from the Stags Leap AVA and Rutheford bench.
- Representative cabernets.
You'll check in with some of the old guard, such as Robert Mondavi and BV, as well as learn about a few newcomers.
You can expect a surprise or two from this sommelier’s private library.
Details
- Experience level: Beginners to experts.
- You'll taste six to eight wines and chat-up on an informal basis.
Materials
A $20 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers everything you'll need.
Class Policies
- Ages 21 and up are welcome.
- You must wear closed-toe shoes in the studio.
- You must be registered (no drop-ins).
