About
Rob Reed, an arborist certified by the International Society of Arboriculture who is currently working for the City of Bainbridge Island, will be the speaker at this free presentation, which is open to all.
Rob will discuss how the city's tree ordinance impacts island properties. He earned a bachelor of science degree in riparian ecology from The Evergreen State College and has extensive experience in salmon habitat monitoring and restoration. His career began with the Washington Conservation Corps. Then he moved into excavation, land-clearing, and forestry consulting. Originally from Venice Beach, California, Rob now enjoys the Pacific Northwest with his wife, 2½-year-old daughter, and dog. When he can, he short-board surfs in the frigid waters of the Olympic Peninsula.
No registration is required. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
