About
In this class, you will set up a torch and gain familiarity with the tools that BARN provides at each torch station. You will learn about some of the characteristics of molten borosilicate glass and melt some to make shapes that are the building blocks of all torchworked objects. We’ll have a look at examples of how these come together to make more complex shapes and if you have ideas of what you’d like to make, you will have an opportunity to ask about next steps towards those goals.
This class is also a good refresher for a beginner that wants to reacquaint themselves with setting up a torch for open studio.Materials
