About

Build a tensor table that’s about 18 inches tall and 12 inches square, resulting in something similar to the image shown. You’ll complete the project in six to eight sessions, which should allow some flexibility in attendance, as well as the opportunity to work on other welding projects.

You’ll start with a thorough review of safe shop practices, as well as training on safe operation of all the tools and equipment you’ll use to construct your table. Those tools include the cold saw, bandsaw, angle grinders, drill press, MIG (metal inert gas) welders, and other hand tools.

This fun class should provide young artisans plenty of opportunities to build skills and confidence in working with metal.
