About

Study a selection of photographs featuring little houses in snowy, wooded landscapes. After you find inspiration for your pastel piece, you'll practice basic pastel skills to sketch outlines, layer colors, and create depth with darks and lights.

Once you're confident with your basic piece, move on to add creative detail and learn techniques to transform white spaces into pillowy snow and calm reflections on water and ice.
