About
Drop in and watercolor Tuesday mornings in the studio — at the back of the Commons on the lower level. You're invited whether you're a seasoned veteran of watercolor or a complete beginner who is curious. We paint together, share tips and experiences, try new materials, and occasionally have experts demonstrate valuable techniques.

Instructors or Guides
Carla Mackey
Although she's currently the Drawing & Painting Studio lead and hosts the weekly watercolor meetup, she says she's not an expert watercolorist but rather an enthusiastic learner and experimenter. Carla is an avid traveler (with lots of travel journals), hiker (yep, more journals), and student of all things Italian (where the colors, culture, and history inspire her interest in watercolor). Her primary goal for the weekly watercolor meetup is to create a community of people who love watercolor; want to learn and practice in a safe, non-competitive space; and maybe relax and laugh along the way.
