About
This free training is required for volunteering in culinary classes. It’s an excellent way for current culinary class assistants to stay on top of the latest information, including new Health Department policies.
We'll meet as a group for about an hour and review how the kitchen must operate under a restaurant license from the Kitsap County Health Department, where equipment is kept, and how to sign up to assist in upcoming classes.
Details
- Culinary class assistants must be BARN members.
- Assistants must have a valid Food Worker card. It's recommended you get one before you take this training. The Washington State Food Worker Course can be taken online.
