About
Learn to weave over a small form using red cedar bark and waxed linen thread. You'll have many colors of waxed linen to choose from to create the triple-twined reverse pattern. You'll learn plaiting, twining, triple twin reverse wale, twill, flip and fold rim. A leather cord will be attached, making this a beautiful and fun necklace to wear.
Details
- All levels are welcome, although prior basketry experience is helpful.
- Approximate size of the amulet is 2.5 inches by 2 inches.
Materials
- A $45 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers all the materials you'll need for this project: 1/8-inch Western red cedar bark, waxed linen thread, and leather cord.
- Feel free to bring your own decorative beads or embellishments.
