About
A fun introduction to stained glass, glass cutting, and using copper foil technique. You’ll create a heart — approximately five inches square — of lasting sentimental value. Learn new skills and make the perfect gift for someone you love by cutting glass, soldering copper foil, and installing a ring for easy hanging.
Registering Youth
- Parent/guardian registering a child for the first time: When you register, select "Others Only" in the "Who Are You Registering?" section. On the next page, select "Add New Registrant." Create an account for your child.
- The next time you register your child, use "Search Registrants" to select them.
- Make sure to fill out your youth's emergency contact information and other details when creating their account.
Project
You will make a stained-glass heart, about 5" square, by cutting glass and soldering copper foil and a ring for easy hanging.
Materials
A $15 materials fee, included in the price of this class, will cover everything you need to make a heart.
Class Policies
- Closed-toed shoes and long pants are required in the Glass Studio at all times.
- Tighter fitting cotton clothing with long sleeves is best to avoid burns.
- Long-hair should be tied back.
