About
Use things like cardboard, paint, and paper to create critters (real or imagined) and then use coding, motors, sensors, and a variety of electronic components to give them life.
You'll use robotics kits— micro:bit and Hummingbird Bit — and explore the different components, how to use them, and code them using a block-coding app called BirdBlox. Then you'll learn different cardboard building techniques and mechanisms that can be used for your creations.
To keep class costs down, the robotic kits will be available during class time and returned to the instructor at the end of the class.
Families will be invited to enjoy sharing time during the last 20 minutes of the class on the final day to view and take photos and videos of student creations.
