About

For the budding woodworker, future judge, or aspiring superhero, this two-session class has a fun project that will give you experience with a mix of power and hand tools. As you fit the head to the handle, you'll also learn how to create wedged tenon joints.

Details

  • Skill level: Beginners welcome.
  • Open to youth ages 12-16.

Registering Youth

  • Parent/guardian registering a child for the first time: When you register, select "Others Only" in the "Who Are You Registering?" section. On the next page, select "Add New Registrant." Create an account for your child.
    • The next time you register your child, use "Search Registrants" to select them.
  • Make sure to fill out your youth's emergency contact information and other details when creating their account.

Materials

A $10 materials fee, included in the class fee, covers all the materials you need.

Class Policies

Wear safety glasses and closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and avoid dangling clothing and jewelry. We recommend bringing your own safety classes.
