About

This is a great project to get you started or back into the forge by shaping yellow-hot steel with hammer, tongs, punch, and anvil. No matter your skill level, you’ll be building expertise by making it as simple or fancy as you like. We'll cover the basics, too.

We’ll cover the basics and quickly have you punching holes, drifting to make the holes larger, shaping and twisting. Finally, you’ll learn how to heat treat your new tool. You’ll leave the class with a functioning tool that you made yourself.

Materials

A $25 materials fee, included in the class price, covers everything you'll need.
