Join us on Saturday, Oct. 19, to celebrate Refract. It's free! Registration is recommended, but not required.
BARN makers will host live demonstrations, offer hands-on activities, and display an exhibition of glass art (including mixed-media collaborations) from 10 AM to 3 PM. Explore the Glass Arts Studio, meet glass artisans, view unique art, learn about different glass working methods, and get inspired!
Schedule10 AM – 2 PM
- Torchworking demos by BARN makers (in the Glass Arts Studio).
- Try It! Make a Mosaic Pendant (BARN Commons).
10 AM – 3 PM
- Reflections of the Pacific Northwest Glass Exhibition (BARN Great Room).
2 – 3 PM
- Artists’ Reception (BARN Great Room).

- Free and open to the public.
- Registration is recommended, but is not required.
- Refract is the nation’s newest festival showcasing creative uses of glass in the Pacific Northwest. Hosted by Chihuly Garden and Glass in partnership with Visit Seattle, this event brings together art organizations and artists alike to showcase what makes our glass community so special.
